This is a #storygram (mini-stories) from my Instagram, which you can get to via the social media links at the top of this site. I do my best to make them a daily thing for you to enjoy and share with your friends! I really love making them, as they allow me to simultaneously scratch my photography and writing itches while I’m busy with filmmaking. Thank you very much for reading and sharing them! The Story:

It was a facility unmatched by any other man made structure, and Braven 7 was the perfect world to hide it.

“I found it, Bree.”
“Jordan, don’t play games with me. Are you serious?”
“Yes. Have a look.”

Jordan snapped a picture with his watch and sent it to Bree.

“I can’t believe… Okay, Jordan, just, uh… just stay there. I can make it there in two hours.”
“Don’t freak out. I’ll wait, Bree.”

He severed the connection and stared at the facility. So much power was being generated there that the air around it was statically charged.

He wouldn’t even dream of going in there without Bree, though. His software could reroute all the power back to the people and control the facility remotely, but without Bree he’d never get past the first gate download adobe acrobat xi standard.

He was excited he found the facility, but he had to wait, so he laid down in the grass and got comfortable. He smiled at the thought of the people having plentiful power soon: Power to cook. Power to see. Power to warm. Content with his daydreams, he drifted into a light sleep.

When Bree arrived, it was getting dark. She ran to where Jordan was waiting, but the only thing she found was some mashed down grass.

She lifted her wrist to check the location on her watch. And just beyond her sight in the mashed down grass, she saw Jordan’s blood splattered watch. She knelt down to take it and found a note attached:
“Welcome to Braven 7, Bree. No need to sneak in. Just knock. And if you want to speak with Jordan, you’ll want to move quickly.”

She felt a chill run down her back. Jordan had become her best friend over the years, and she loved him.

She looked at Jordan’s watch and looked at the facility, as a tear rolled down her cheek. Spotting a camera drone a few feet above her, she looked straight at it and said, “I’m sorry, Jordan.”

She took one last look at the facility they’d spent years tracking down together. Gripping Jordan’s watch tightly, she turned and began running away.

Too many people were relying on that power. Bree wished she had an excuse to try and save Jordan, but he had chosen to hide his software in the programming of his watch.
